Compensation becomes a thorny issue for CellQuest users who wish to work with GFP and other colors. A quick work-around is to first collect Calibur data uncompensated. Nice tutorial for defining compensation matrix in FlowJo. You may want to tell people that this is what they really should do, instead of offering it as a workaround for GFP. Online compensation (collecting compensated data) *permanently* alters your data - you can never get your raw data back.
